In the summer of 2017 I lost my father. I was blessed with the opportunity to nurse him through his hospice experience. On one occasion while he was conscious, he asked me if there were stars under his feet. I didn't quite know how to answer him at that moment. It took a number of weeks before I was enlightened to the image of him rising to heaven and the stars being under his feet. The song was written not long after that, and it holds a special place in my heart. As always I pray that it will spiritually touch you in some positive way.
